Coal walls, black crown molding, hardwood floors Burgundy?
We have one square foot room above the family 400 with four walls and three large windows. We want to have the walls painted dark charcoal, black and burgundy crown molding hardwood floors. Has anyone done something similar? We have a sofa Deep purple section that is 10 people, we have a black coffee table with marble top. We will have a black iron wine rack with glass at the top. I have curiosity on how it will look. Ceiling will be white and the blinds are white. Let's add colorful images.
Tres chic very sophisticated. In my 30 years in interior design, usually do not see Americans venturing into such bold color schemes, but it is very common in Europe. The only addition that others could add to the warmth and anchor a large sofa is a rug in front of the sofa and spreads under the coffee table. BTW my room own family has walls of coal, black crown molding and fireplace mantle, a ceiling red and gold, burgundy floors, a marble coffee table, a leather chair wing and backed burgundy silk chenille sofa duponi and anchored by a large wool rug. So, obviously, love the color scheme! LOL
